Question:

Some of my relatives or friends have a criminal record and/or were convicted of a felony. May I relate with them? What obligation do I have to disclose their personal contact information to my U.S. Probation Officer?

Answer:

You may relate with family members after authorization by the US probation officer in charge of supervision is granted. The US probation officer may meet with the parties regarding the conditions of release.
You also have an obligation to disclose their personal contact information to the probation officer, so an assessment can be made as to your pro-social and negative associations.
